Call for papers - New developments in the theory of a frictional labour market
Department of Economics at the University of Mainz, Germany, invites submissions for a one-day Mainz Workshop in Labour Economics, which will take place on May 9, 2011. The workshop aims at stimulating exchange of new ideas in the theoretical modeling of a labour market with search and matching frictions and information asymmetries. Particular emphasis will be made on (but not restricted to) labour market dynamics and efficiency. Keynote speech of the workshop will be delivered by Prof. Philipp Kircher (University of Pennsylvania / LSE).
The deadline for submissions is April 1, 2011. Authors of submitted papers will be notified of the decision shortly thereafter. For submission, please send your paper as an email attachment to .
University of Mainz will provide accommodation and reimburse economy class travel expenses for the authors whose contributions were accepted to the workshop.
The workshop is public and open to all.
