The Department of Economics at the University of Mainz, Germany, invites papers for a one day workshop on 30 June 2014 on "Communication and Family Violence". Our keynote speaker is Michèle Tertilt (Universität Mannheim). Mitja Back (Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität Münster), Heather Foran (TU Braunschweig) and Klaus Wälde have also agreed to give talks on this topic.
As two of the speakers are economists and two are psychologists, this is a truly interdisciplinary workshop displaying contributions ranging from pure theory to clinical work. We therefore welcome further contributions from all of economics, psychology and related fields that deal with communication and family violence.
The Center for Emotional Economics can cover travel and accommodation costs for all speakers.
Paper submissions should be sent as an email attachment to macroeconomics(at)uni-mainz.de by 30 April 2014. Acceptance decisions will be communicated by 15 May 2014.
We are proud to announce that this workshop is part of a larger number of workshops organized by members of the International Society for Research in Emotions. The society will celebrate its 30th anniversary this year. See the logo to the right for more information.
