The Department of Economics at the University of Mainz, Germany, invites papers for a one day workshop on 23 January 2012 on behavioral and emotional economics. Our keynote speaker is Robert Sugden from the University of East Anglia, one of the founders of regret theory.
We welcome diverse approaches, including, but not restricted to, theoretical, experimental and axiomatic. The workshop aims to further existing dialogues on how behavioral and psychological insights can be incorporated in models of decision making in economics and psychology, and how these insights may help to better understand real world economic questions as well as design more effective public policy.
The deadline for submissions is 4 December 2011. Authors of selected papers will be notified of the decision shortly thereafter.
The Center for Emotional Economics can cover travel and accommodation costs for all speakers.
